They grow healthy produce across a network of eight rooftop urban farms in the heart of St. Louis and donate the majority of the harvest to nonprofit partners serving communities with limited or non-existent access to healthy, nutritious food. Talk of the Town welcomes Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Walk Chair, Lynn Stover to talk about ‘Light the Night’ which will be held nationwide on October 8th. Light The Night’s virtual platform will be an interactive and engaging experience allowing LLS supporters and volunteers to enjoy the same iconic elements of Light The Night – illuminated lanterns, Circle of Survivors and the Remembrance Pavilion – in a different format but with the same passion to bring an end to blood cancers once and for all. There will also be selfie stations, kids zone, and you will even have the chance to get out and walk in your own neighborhood during the event.
